What is the SIFT method?

How do you decide if a web source is worthy of your attention? You need to be able to decide that for yourself by evaluating the source, and the SIFT method can help with that. Mike Caulfield, Washington State University digital literacy expert, has created this list of four fact-checking strategies to quickly decide whether or not to spend time on a source.
